February 19, 2021 at 12:21 pmI find it interesting and a little frustrating that infertility is based on a calendar period of time as opposed to a number of cycles trying. Just curious if anyone else thinks about this too?
I have cycles between 23 and 25 days long, so I’ll have to try for 15-16 cycles before my doctor will even discuss fertility testing because the basis for that is trying for one full year. I’m on cycle 12 TTC now and it’s hard to not wonder if there’s more information I could have if we would start the process.
Just wanting to vent more than anything I guess. At the beginning I was so excited for the possibility at the end of each cycle and I’m now starting to feel heartbroken each time.
